Our simple and easy to read award winning list of wines, beer and spirits is carefully crafted. Skewed towards smaller high quality producers, it nods knowingly to the classics and is matched aptly to the sumptuous menu.

 

Apothecary is fortunate to be located in the heart of South Australian wine country. We are spoilt for wine choice!

 

When compiling our list, we have opted to stay local and carefully craft our list predominately based on the abundance of outstanding producers in South Australia. While we nod to the regions in Australia that excel in specific varieties, you will find most of our wines are local.

 

The list is constantly changing and evolving in search of obscure and interesting drops from around the globe also. The focus of our wine list is on Australian varieties and their European equivalents. In keeping with our European heritage and style, we have a selection of European wines which are showcased against the local varieties, highlighting the Old World versus New World styles.

 

Half bottles are a strong focus as your menu is best shared. It is a great way to taste and enjoy a range of wines, without committing to a full bottle.

 

From premium and iconic producers through to lesser known local drops, long standing relationships with small, boutique local producers enables us to offer you wines that are in small production and limited release. Every week there is something new to try – and not just in the way of wine!
