  • Named for the exquisite antique pharmacist’s dispensary which is the centerpiece of it’s decor, it harkens back to the beau-monde of the late 19th century Paris, when no person was considered inadequate company as long as they shared in an appreciation of a fine drop, in fine environs. The 135-year-old antique pharmacy cabinets grace the front bar. Discovered buried beneath layers of dust at the rear of an Adelaide antique shop, and originally from London, these mahogany pieces feature pure crystal drawer handles with 18-carat gold leaf inscriptions.

Tumbled marble floor tiles arranged in the same style as the footpaths of Italy are featured in the main bar. Classic Thonet chairs are drawn up to elegant solid marble and brass tables; a great place to sit and chat with friends over a bar plate and glass of wine or two. Antique chaise lounges and seating have been rescued to create the unique and inviting atmosphere in the upstairs function room. Rustic brickwork lines the walls, and some 1200 wines quietly sleep behind intricate wrought iron work in the restaurant. The historic feel is carried throughout with rich velvet carpet, mahogany cabinet and imported chandeliers.
